shortfilm, 1min. 40sec., 16mm color positive film

Directed by
Sanne Wijdenes
Cinematography Laurin Pircher
Models Zia & Esmay
Digitized by
Onno Petersen
A queering re-enactment of Takahiko Iimura’s “Love (Ai)” - 1963

An exploration of queer desire, a refusal to conform to dominant modes of representation,
fluctuating between visibility and obfuscation.

An uncensored cinematic space, where the ambiguous complexity of eroticism and intimacy
is allowed to flicker, briefly, into being.

This film takes part of the COWMAG exhibition September 2025 at the UT Vrijhof, Enschede, Netherlands.
